H2O Overdrive Summer Series Home

Online registration will close at 1:00pm MST on Friday, July 26. If you plan to join us for the event and have not registered by then, you can register on Friday between the hours of 1:00pm and 6:00pm at Newpark Resort while enjoying the festivites that kick off the 2012 H2O Overdrive Summer Series. You can also register day-of at the event site up to one hour before your event starts. Make sure to get yourself registered as spots for the River Challenge are filling up quick!

JOIN IN ON THE FUN!

Embarking on it's fourth year, the H2O Overdrive SUP CUP is expanding to include four new events this year; evolving into what will now be known as the H2O Overdrive Summer Series. New additions include a kids race for those 16 and under, a full-contact kayaking event known as the 8-ball Kayak, and a whitewater team race. Relax SUP CUP diehards, we are also excited to bring back all the favorites from past years. 

On Saturday, hundreds of spectators will line the scenic Jordanelle Reservoir and watch as you race towards victory in what has been noted as the best SUP race event of the year. With multiple distance options for the open water race, including a 5 mile Elite race or a 3 mile Ghost Town open age race, you'll have plenty of options to get out in the water and push your self to be the best SUP racer you can be. In addition to the distance races, we will have a 1/4 mile relay race where one elite racer and two open age racers will be placed on a team to battle for the win. Don't think we forgot about the kids! We will be offereing a kids race in conjunction with our open water races taking place at the Jordanelle Reservoir.

We are happy to say that we are bringing back the Weber River SUP Cross race for the 2nd year! With such great success last year, we decided to expand the whitewater race to include an 8-ball kayak race and the Supsquatch dual team relay. Now with three events taking place on the Weber River, we expect Sunday to be the most exciting day of the series.

Cash Prizes

This year we are giving away $10,000 in cash plus prizes to the Elite Race contestants, Weber River Challenge contestants, The Ultimate Waterman and Woman (best combined scores from Elite Race and Weber River Challenge), and the 8-Ball Kayak Racers. And to top it off, we are going deep this year. We will be awarding the top ten Elite Racers with cash, and top four in the other categories will be awarded with cash as well!
